Telkomsel and XL Axiata 4G coverage is reliable in Mataram, Senggigi, and increasingly in Kuta and the southern beaches. In more remote areas, mobile data is your best option. Fibre connections are available in some accommodation.

Cost of living

Lombok is notably cheaper than Bali at a comparable standard of living. Accommodation, food, and transport costs are lower, which allows for longer stays on the same budget.
