Mandalika

Mandalika is Lombok's most ambitious development zone — a Special Economic Zone on the island's southern coast that has attracted billions of dollars in government and private investment over the last decade.

The centrepiece is the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, which has hosted MotoGP since 2022. The circuit put Mandalika on the global map and has been the catalyst for rapid infrastructure development including a new airport terminal, improved roads, and a growing hospitality sector.

What Mandalika means for investors

The combination of government backing, international events, and improving infrastructure has made Mandalika one of the most compelling land investment stories in Southeast Asia. Land values have risen significantly since the circuit was announced, but they remain well below comparable zones in Bali.
